Cauliflower Kheema

Cauliflower Kheema  -  Tanushree Aich


Ingredients
Cauliflower, grated
1 medium
Ginger, chopped
1 1/2 inch piece
Garlic
15-20 cloves
Green chillies
3
Oil
2 tablespoons
Cumin seeds
1 teaspoon
Asafoetida
1/4 teaspoon
Salt
to taste
Coriander powder
1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder
1 teaspoon
Yogurt
2 tablespoons
Cashewnuts, roasted and crushed

Method

Step 1Chop ginger, garlic and green chillies in a chopper. Heat oil in a non stick pan.

Step 2Add cumin seeds and asafoetida and sauté till golden. Add ginger-garlic-green chillies and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

Step 3Add cauliflower and mix well. Add salt, mix and cook for 1 minute.

Step 4Add coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix. Cover and cook on medium heat for 1 minute.

Step 5Add yogurt and mix. Cover and cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes.

Step 6Garnish with cashew nuts and serve
