Kakdi Thalipeth - Nisha Baliga Shenoy
Recipe from my friend Nutanshenoy
1 small cucumber -washed peeled n grated
2 cups semolina ( Rava- local )
3 to 4 green chillies
2 sprigs of coriander leaves
salt to taste
oil to fry
Butter to relish
U can add even some coconut grating to the dough if u need.
1. Grate the cucumber , add a pinch of salt to it and keep aside. this leaves water.
2. Add rava,green chillies, chopped coriander and salt to taste to the grated cucumber and mix well. add water if necessary. ( adjust salt as it already has salt ).
3. The consistency of dough should be as such that u must able to form flat roti.
4.Grease a tava, wet ur palms , take a small amount of dough and pat a flat roti on the tava .
5. add few drops of oil. and cover and cook on medium flame till cripsy.
6. serve hot . ! with butter.
