Gobi Matar

Gobi Matar - Laxmi Bhandary

Ingredients: 
2 cups cauli florets, half cup green peas ( shelled), 3 onions, 3 tomatoes, 2 tbsps oil, & salt.


For grinding: 
1 piece ginger, 1 small bunch chopped coriander leaves, 4 green chillies and 5 garlic cloves.


Method: 
Grind all ingredients together to a fine paste. Add little water while grinding. Cook peas & florets in little water. Chop finely the tomatoes & onions. Heat oil in a frying pan, put onion & fry till golden brown. Add tomatoes & fry for 5 minutes. Then add ground paste & keep on stirring till oil separates. Add the cooked vegetables & salt to taste and cook for 20 minutes. The gravy should not be watery.
