Super Soft Mallige Idlis

1 cup urad( not dal but whole white urad, it is called gota) 3 cups idli rice, 1 cup poha, 1 cup cooked rice. Soak rice and urad separately. Grind urad real well. The grinding of the urad is the key to good idlis.Grind rice separately and add poha and cooked rice to the rice while grinding. Mix the two batters well and add salt and allow to ferment and proceed as with regular idlis. Also try making dosas with the left over batter, you'll get the best paper dosas ever.
