Magge koddel - Nisha Baliga Shenoy
Ingredients:
Pressure the Cucumber for 1 whistle and turn of the gas.
Grind together coconut , chillies, turmeric, tamarind to a smooth masala.Add enuf water to make it to a gravy consistency.
In a thick bottom vessel, bring this masala to a boil, add salt, add the cook cucumber and mix well and again boil it for 2 minutes and turn off the the flame.
In a small pan, heat coconut oil, add crushed Garlic and fry till light brown, add this to the curry and close the lid
Magge koddel is ready. This is relished with Rice.

25 cloves of garlic crushed
salt to taste
