Surna Sassam

Surna Sassam - Deepika Shenoy

Recipe:

Cut Surnu into small cubes... wash & apply salt & keep aside 4 some time... then squeeze well & deep fry...

Grind grated coconut, Red Chillies, and a pea sized amt of tamarind by adding sufficient water... Add the fried surnu into this ground mixture & mix well.. u SHUD NOT BOIL this.. heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds, jeera & curry leaves & add this tadka to the sassam... Serve with rice...
