2 kgs Dosa rice
1/2 kg Urad dal
1/2 cup butter
salt to taste
1 tsp til ( Seasame seeds )
Oil to fry
Dry roast Urad dal till to get a fine aroma.
let ity cool down.
Now mix this with Dosa rice and get it powdered in Flour mill.
Now we have enuf mix powder of both rice and urad .
Take about 2 cups of this powder , add 1 tsp til, 1/2 cup melted butter , salt and enuf water to make a smooth dough.
The dough must not stick to hands.
Grease the Chakli mould with oil.
Put a small ball of dough in the mould and then press and make Chaklis on a plastic sheet.
heat oil and deep fry these chaklis one by one in oil till light brown.
yummy and cripsy chaklis r ready .!!
( The remaining Powder can be stored for one month . Chaklis can be prepared whenever necessary)
