Phova Chuda - Tanushree Aich
Recipe
3 cups thin poha
2 green chillies chopped
7-8 curry leaves
3 tbsp phutni daal
1/4 th cup peanuts
10 roasted cashews broken
2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Pinch sugar
Dried & roasted coconut bits taste great .. I dint hv any
In a deep kadhai first dry roast the peanuts, phutni daal & poha separately
Mix & keep aside
Next add the oil, temper the mustard seeds, once they splutter, add chopped green chillies
When the chillies get fried add the curry leaves
Next add turmeric powder
Quickly saute for a few secs & add the poha mix
Stir well so the tempering & poha gets mixed well, add roasted cashew bits
Lastly adjust salt & add a pinch sugar
Roasted coconut bits taste very good & can be added as well
