Chana Ghassi

Chana Ghassi - Prathiba Maller


It is a pulse lentil, protein nutrient which is also called chick peas !
Soak the chana overnight.
Pressure cook the next day.
One whistle with 15 minutes low heat.
Cool.
Add masala paste of 1/2 cup coconut fresh grated with 3 fried red chillies with a small piece of tamaeind.
Add to the cooked chana, a curry, ghassi with hot rice ! Before serving, season with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
