Capsicum Panchamrut

Capsicum Panchamrut - Anagha Kulkarni

Recipe:

Heat oil, add mustard seeds, dry coconut pieces , peanuts, green chillies, asafoetida powder. Add chopped capsicum, turmeric powder. Add water and let it cook. Then add tamarind pulp, jaggery & Goda masala. To enhance the taste add roasted sesame & peanut powder.A traditional Maharashtrian recipe. Can make it without capsicum. Can use bitter gourd instead.
