Turmeric Leaves Pan Patholi - Laxmi Bhandary
Ingredients:
1 pav raw rice, 1/4 pav beaten rice, 1 cup coconut gratings, 1 big ball jaggery, 1 tsp cardamom powder, few turmeric leaves.
Method: Soak rice and beaten rice ( thick ) for an hour. Wash. Grind with 2 tbsps of coconut gratings for a smooth paste. While taking out add a pinch of salt and jaggery & grind for another few minutes. Prepare a blend of crushed jaggery coconut gratings. Spread about 2 tsps of d ground paste on each turmeric leaves thinly. Place a small quantity of blend on the paste. Fold leaf lengthwise. Place d patholis side by side on the idli vessel. Steam under cover, till cooked. It takes 45 minutes. Remove from flame.
