Sheera

Sheera - laxmi Bhandary

Ingredients:
1 cup Bombay rava,
1 cup sugar,
1/2 cup ghee,
2 tsps cardamom powder,
1 pinch saffron, a few raisins and a few cashew nuts.

Method:
Boil about 2 cups of water in a vessel and keep aside. Roast rava with ghee, in a frying pan. Add boiling water and turn over till the rava becomes soft. Add sugar and raisins. Continue turning over for another few minutes, adding saffron stirred in a little milk. Mix cardamom powder and remove from flame.
