Poha Cutlets

Poha Cutlets - Rajashree Acharya Kamat
Recipe:
Take 1 cup thick poha,put in a strainer & wash it under running water. Keep it for 5min in soaked condition. Meanwhile, take 3 med.sized boiled potatoes. Peel off the skin & mash them properly. Take 2 tblsp maida,add salt & pepper pow. to it & prepare a thin batter from this. Grind 3-4 slices of bread to get bread crumbs. Add soaked poha to mashed potapoes,1/4 tsp chilli pow., 1/2-1 tsp salt, finely chopped 2 green chillies, 1 inch ginger grated & 2 tblsp. chopped coriander leaves. Mix all of this & take a small qty of the mix. & shape them into cutlets. Dip the cutlets in the maida batter, roll in the bread crumbs & shallow fry to get these yummy cutlets
