Dillwala Rice with Dulhaniya Raita - Sabitha Shenoy
Recipe:
Fry in oil or ghee onion. Add ginger garlic paste. Toss, add chopped dill (subsige soppu) and coriander leaves. add soaked rice. Toss add few pieces of tomato and 1-2 table spoon dahi and pepper powder followed by salt. Add double water. Cover the cooker and cook for 3-4 minutes with cooker weight on. Once cooled open the cooker, and spread the rice. Add some freshly cut dill and cor leaves.
Raita :While cutting reserve little bit of onion, tomato and cor leaves mix with dahi, your raita is ready. You can add salt,jeera powder and a pinch chilly powder to raita.
