Dal Fry


Dal Fry - Laxmi Bhandary 

Ingredients: 

1/2 Cup green gram dal, 3 cups water, 2 tsps ghee, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 onion, 5 garlic cloves, small piece ginger, 2 tomatoes, 1 tsp chilli powder, half tsp garam masala powder, half tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste and few coriander leaves for garnishing.

Method: 


Cook daal in 3 cups of water. Prepare seasoning in a frying pan, heat ghee, put cumin seeds and finely chopped onion and fry for 2 minutes. Add chopped ginger garlic and further fry for a while. Add finely chopped tomatoes
