Chicken Masala Fry


Chicken Masala Fry - Vijaya Shenoy‎ 



Recipe

Grated coconut -1/2 cup
Roasted red chillies- 10-15
Dhania-2 tbsp ,jeera 1tsp ,shahijeera -1tsp, cloves2-3,cinnamon-1/2",pepper-1/2 tsp,mustard seeds-1/4 tsp,poppy seeds-1/4 tsp,sliced onion-1/2 ,garlic -15-20 pods,ginger-1/ 2".
Dry roast these until it gives off a nice aroma.separately roast the coconut until it gets a dark brown colour. Allow it to cool and then grind all the above into a smooth paste.
In a pan heat oil ,add about 3-4 sliced onion and fry till golden brown.next add 2 finely chopped tomatoes and fry till tomatoes are mashed.add the cleaned chicken pieces,the ground masala and fry for a while.add enough water for the chicken to cook and allow the gravy to thicken .
