Butter Chicken


Butter Chicken - Vidya Nayak Shenoy 



Method :
(With cashew nuts in gravy )

Marination masala coriander leaves paste ,1 tsp jeera pd, turmeric pd, garam masala pd , ginger+garlic+green chilli paste, salt, red chilli pd , marinate chicken for 1 hr, Grind khus khus, cloves , cinnamon with curds keep it separate, fry 2 finely chopped onions n when cold grind to a fine paste with curds, grind tomatoes to a fine paste, lastly grind cashewnuts in curds . Keep all masalas separatelyHeat oi+Ghee add 1 tsp jeera, Fry 3 - 4 onions in cooker, when translucent add Khuskhus masala, fry for a while on a low fire, take care it should not stick to the pan, then add masalas one by one, till the tomato masala, add the marinated chicken simmer for a while, Now cook till done, later add cashewnut paste , fresh coriander finely chopped n kasurimethi, serve hot with rotis.
