Beetroot Songa

Beetroot Songa  -  Laxmi Bhandary


Ingredients: 

1 beetroot chopped, 
2 onions chopped, 
chilli powder 3 tsps, 
tamarind pulp 2 tsps, 
oil 2 tbsps and 
salt

Method:
 
Pressure cook beetroot. In a pan pour oil and add onions. When onions are little brown, add chilly powder and saute for 2 minutes. Then add tamarind pulp and add 1 cup of water.let it boil. Then add boiled beetroot and salt. Cook till the curry thickens. Remove from flame. Serve hot with rice.
