Watli Daal - Anagha Kulkarni
Recipe
Watli daal (ground Chana daal) Soak chana daal for 4/5 hours. Grind it. On medium flame, in a pan add oil, mustered seeds, asafoitida, turmeric powder curry leaves. Add the ground daal, add salt, sugar, chilli powder, coriander-cumin powder. Fry w/o adding water, until it cooks & becomes dry. Add coriander & grated coconut. Serve as a side or evening snack......
