Kulith Kirlanu Usal

Kulith Kirlanu Usal - Nutan Shenoy-Kini

Recipe;
1.Soak kulith or horsegram overnight n let it sprout well for a day or 
2. Chop onions n garlic n saute in oil till translucent. Add sprouted kulith after washing under running water. 
3.Add kala masala, salt n turmeric, half a glass of water and cook covered until done. I have not added chilly pwd or chopped green chillies. They can be added if you want your usal spicy. We topped it with lime-juice & had it as a side-dish for lunch.
