Kuvey Pitta Duddali

Recipe:
Soak one cup kuvey peet in water. After a while decant the water collected on the top.one cup sugar,4 cups milk or fruit juice or coconut milk is added to the soaked powder.If coconut milk is added, instead of sugar, jaggery is Added.Add Cardamom powder and saffron. Then heated on the fire, keep stirring until the opaque mixture changes its colour. Cook for few more minutes. Transfer the mass on to a greased plate and once cool cut into desired shapes. Decorate with fruit, jam,nuts of your choice.
