DULCHE DE LECHE NANKATAI

DULCHE DE LECHE NANKATAI - Jaya Venugopal

To the original recipe of the nankatai ,I substituted dulche de leche(Caramel) instead of the sugar.....

Recipe:
MAIDA ...1 cup
GHEE ...1/2 cup
DULCHE DE LECHE ....1/2 cup
BAKING POWDER 1/2 tsp
and CARDAMOM POWDER a little....


Method:
Follow the recipe of a normal Nankatai by mixing all thses ingredients ,rest for an hour or so and make into nankatai and bake in the preheated oven at 170 deg for 20 to 25 minutes....keep checking after 15 min , as it can get burnt on the base due to the dulche de leche....you can garnish with any nuts of your choice before baking..
