Tandoori Chicken

Tandoori Chicken - Anitha Shenoy
Recipe:

Take one kg of chicken both leg pieces as well as breast pieces.

We prefer leg pieces so i have taken only those in this pic.
Make slits on the pieces, apply lemon n salt. Keep for half an hour.
In a bowl mix 2tsp ginger and garlic paste,

6tbsp thick curd,

if you have tandoori chicken masala add that 5tsp orelse add 1tsp of garam masala, dhania, chilly powder each.

I have added a pinch of colour which is optional.

Marinate the above for 4 hrs.

More you marinate more juicy it will turn out.
Either u can deep fry or brush some oil on top of each piece and grill it.

This time i have grilled it.

Serve with lemon wedges, onion rings and coriander chutney.

Some prefer little chat masala sprinkled on top for extra flavor. Try out both. Its simply tastes yumm
