Dates(Kharjura)Payasu - Vidya Nayak Shenoy
Method: Cook some 10 - 12 nos. of dates (deseeded) in milk, let it cool then form a smooth paste in mixer, transfer it to other vessel n add jaggery (add milk to get the required consistency). when jaggery melts, simmer for few seconds n switch off. Add fried cashews n raisins (in ghee), n cardamom pd.
