Bread Caramel Pudding

Bread Caramel Pudding - Anita Pai

Ingr : 
Sugar 1 tbs for caramel
Sugar 1/2 cup
Vanilla custard pwd 1 tbsp
China grass 1 tsp
Milk 1/2 ltr
Bread 3 slices cut into 4 square pcs each
Method:
Mix d custard pwd in 1/2 cup of cold milk n keep ready.
Boil d remaining milk wid 1/2 cup sugar, wen it boils add 1 tsp of pwd china grass mix well n cook for 5 mins. Add the dissolved custard pwd mixture n cook till it thickens. In a pan add 1 tbs sugar for caramelising wid 1 tsp of western cook till sugar turns dark brown.
Immediately transfer this to a square or rectangular dish in which to set the pudding . Spread caramel evelyvon d base . Then add 3 slices if bread cut in squares n cover the base. Then pour d custard sauce in this. Keep aside to cool down to room temp. Then add a layer of thick cream, spread it evenly . Sprinkle wid chpd nuts n some cocoa pwd or chocolate pwd if desired. Keep refrigerated for 3-4 hrs n serve chilled cut in desired shapes .
