Mangalore Goli Baje - Nutan Shenoy-Kini
Recipe:
1cup Maida
1 tbsp Besan flour
1/2 cup thick curds
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp soda
3 Green chillies
1 tsp ginger chopped
1/2 cup water ( if necessary )
salt to taste
oil to fry
Method:
Beat the curds to a smooth paste , add salt and sugar n soda pd to it. Now add the maida little by little along with Besan , and mix well ,add water if required. The batter must be of Idli batter consistency. Then add the chopped ginger and green chillies. Keep aside for 1 hour. Heat oil in a thick bottom pan. Take a spoonful of batter and deep fry the Bhajje till light brown colour. This can be relished with Tomato sauce or any chutney of ur choice.
