Coriander Leaves Thambuli

Coriander Leaves Thambuli - Sabitha Shenoy

Recipe:

One fistful coconut gratings, one fistful fresh coriander leaves with tender stems. Fry in ghee 3-4 pepper corns and 1/4 tsp jeera till fragrant. Grind together all the above with 2 spicy green chillies and tamarind. Add 1 tbsp well beaten curds. Season ( optional) with ghee, mustard, curry leaves and jeera( I did not use the seasoning as I like tambuli with the fresh smell of coriander leaves).
