Thendle Buthi

Thendle Buthi - Sobha P Shenoi

This is my mom's recipe.
Ingredients: 
Baby onions,
thendle,
coconut
red chillies
tamarind
 For the masala. 
Grind together coconut,a few coriander seeds,roasted red chillies and a little tamarind .lastly add a little roasted urad dhal and grind it along with the coconut masala. Heat oil .Add mustard seeds and a few methi seeds .Add chopped onion .Fry for about 5mins .Then add thendle to it Add salt .when half done add the coconut masala. Cook till done . This goes well with rice and dhali thoi, Variation. Can be prepared with mushroom and bitter gourd (fried and added)
