Cold Cheese Cake - Vidya Pai
Preparation time 10 minutes
serve 6-8
Ingredients:-
200g plain biscuits(crumbled)
2 tblsp unsalted butter(melted)
400g creme cheese
one pack(395g)sweetened condensed milk
one tspn vanilla essence
one tblsp lemon juice
10g of gelatin powder
4 tbspn of hot water
Method:
1)combine biscuit crumbs with melted butter, press the biscuit mixture into a loose bottom cake pan.
2)In a mixing bowl gently beat creme cheese, nestle sweetened condensed milk and vanilla until mixture becomes smooth add the lemon juice to the cheese mixture and mix
3)Sprinkle gelatin over hot water and mix well to dissolve and add it to the creme cheese mixture with constant stirring. Make sure the gelatin is completely dissolved before adding to the cheese mixture. Then pour the mixture on biscuit base and place in fridge for 3 hours.
