Methi Malai Mutter - Vidya Pai
Ingredients---
2 cups chopped methi leaves
1 tsp jeera
1 onion chopped
1-2 tomatoes
1 cup green peas
1/2 cup fresh cream
2 tsp garam masala
2 tsp red chilly pwd
oil
salt to taste.
Method :-
Grind to a paste 6 green chillies, 4 tsp cashewnuts, 1 tbsp khuskhus and 1/2 inch piece ginger and 10 cloves garlic.
In a pan, heat oil. Add jeera, onions and saute till onions are translucent.
Blend tomatoes and add to the onions and cook till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
Add salt to the chopped methi, keep aside.
Add the ground paste to the tomato mixture, mix well.
Now add garam masala, red chilly pwd, methi, peas and mix well.
Add fresh cream. Mix well and cook till peas are done.
Check salt.
Serve hot with rotis.
